A little "roller coster" It was really fun :)
Now in Germany! It has been 2 1/2 days no since I have been here. My flight was good, but not enjoyable. I didn't sleep at all! Just to my luck, there was a crying baby sitting just a seat away from me... :P haha I arrived in the morning, so after the 3 hour drive to get to what is now home, I unpacked. And unpacked. And unpacked. :) Lena, Carla (exchange student from Argentina who is also staying with us) and I decided to go on a bike "tour." We rode into downtown Goslar, which is about a 30 minute bike ride. We saw all the little cafes and shops, its so cute! My school is also there, so I got to see it for the first time.... It is stunning! The building itself is more than 500 years old! After walking around a bit, and getting some ice cream, we headed home. SLEEP! Surprisingly, I slept soundly through the night! :)) The next day we went to the supermarket, and I took a nap... (BAD IDEA) as I would soon find out.. Last night I didn't get so much as even 30 minutes of sleep. :( Not so good. Ha! In the morning (I didn't "wake up") I simply got out of bed! After breakfast, and a cup of coffee ;) we were planned to go hiking through the Hearts Mountains. It is so pretty there! I love it! The temperature was about 50 F, drizzling on and off. Kind of a climate shock to a west Texas girl! ;) I took many many pictures but... also to my luck. A travelers ABSOLUTE worst nightmare.. They all got deleted :'( Luckily, Nettie, and Carla both took pictures. All the good ones with me in them are deleted. Also today I also tried my first Bratworst... It was delicious! :D So far my adventure in Germany is good! :))
